How can we sum this all up??

Well, we usually cannot summarize anything effectively if not for the interest in the explaining of it in the first place.  If the interest is there, then perhaps we can see the forest for the trees.  No, it's not like having to see the forest because the trees are blind and can't see for themselves ...like a seeing-eye dog. You may think I'm the one barking up the wrong tree, but let me be the one to go out on a limb here.

I will assume most people believe in love.  And the opposite of love is ...what??

Many people say the opposite of love is hate ...but, many others say that the opposite is apathy or indifference.

The opposite of being there for someone is not being there for someone ...and not caring to be.

Being there to torment someone is something else entirely ...and that would probably be more accurately called evil.  If you are apathetic to what is around you, you could watch someone else being tormented and feel no inclination to do anything about it ...and not really caring if it continues.  Yet, others may say that is not as bad as those who are actually doing the tormenting ...as the indifferent person would be perceived as not joining in.

For more convenient reference, we could categorize three emotions (though there are assuredly thousands, combining so many thoughts and feelings).  But, let's call #1 group ...'good', #2 group ...'evil', and #3 group ...'lukewarm'.

Theoretically, we could say that law enforcement would most often have to deal with group #2, though most of us would hesitate to say anybody is actually evil, and futhermore, we would probably say they are generally good for the most part. Yes, we'd say they made a mistake ...perhaps made a bad choice, but certainly not evil.  So, let's not use the word evil here ...but, we also seem to have a problem with the word good. And we also readily add the word victim to the conversation. But, somehow we do often conclude that the somewhat bad focuses its contrary emotion toward the somewhat good.  That sort of makes the only safe place, the lukewarm ...but, is it??

What may seem safe in the short term, may not be in the long term ...yet, the lack of vision shows little endurance for any longstanding, only making the moment tolerable.

We seem to all claim to care about something ...unless we've been labeled insane.  And I'm sure we can all name numerous things we don't like. Yet, we may have the most difficult time not wanting to offend in reference to what others care about, or struggling with what others may say or think if we don't like something they do like.  

Yet, this makes it that much easier to become lukewarm ...while not being able to define where that is with us, because it becomes where we are unaware of where we stand as a result of our strong desire not to stand.

Okay, the summary may be longer than what I initially began saying ...but, another word on love, is that the people who say they don't love are often those who don't want to chance being hurt by it; or they've been hurt so often from it, they want a sabbatical. 

Those who don't like the way things are, often become vocal about it ...with their expressed dissatisfaction being just enough to stir someone's emotions to do more than be vocal about it.

But, those who claim to want to help make it better for everyone else ...can be many things, but can also be a believer (Bible-believer) or a communist.  Neither one usually knows precisely what they're doing ...the difference is, though both can be mess-ups, the one never tells the truth about the motivation behind their successes or failures.

Hint: The other admits they're a sinner.

One finds that God is love ...the other finds flaws in God's character.  The reason for this is that one glorifies God for who He is, while the other does not understand God's character and there is some sort of block there within their mind preventing them from understanding.

Now, honestly, none of us really understand God fully ...and there will be times we don't understand, but the more we read the Bible and take it for its totality, the more we will have some of those misunderstandings cleared up.

Just finished watching a movie based on the story of Peter Pan ...not to be confused with the ancient mythical Pan, though Peter Pan is also make-believe.

Not believing in God somewhat makes us like the Lost Boys

(or girls), and doubt will quickly hook way too many potential believers. We may play make-believe games, but Jesus creates a reality for us.

(I've pondered many things, like whether God created us to have a healthy standard from the very beginning, or whether He started us out wild and then later decided to domesticate us. Looking to God's character, this was not too difficult for me to form an opinion on this.  I do not like to boldly say my perspectives are unquestionably intelligent, nor do I claim my thoughts should be readily accepted.  My opinion is merely something I don't precisely know perhaps ...yet, it is often stated because there are things I find very interesting, and I feel I can confidently make a case for the possibility of truth within those guesses.  Yet, the overwhelming majority of those thoughts do not have to test the imagination ...as they are clearly stated in the Bible, for you & me to read.)
